But do not stop there. Router firmware updates can improve stability, security, and performance. Older routers sometimes struggle because they are running buggy software or default settings that were never optimized. The same goes for devices connecting to the network. A laptop with outdated wireless drivers may look like a Wi-Fi problem when it is really a device problem.
